The wife, kids, and I are all going to be in Raleigh North Carolina for a family reunion in the spring. I am looking forward to it, even though- the reunion is for my wife’s family, who can sometimes be a little bit overwhelming– to say the least! I just got a group email in my inbox asking if anybody knew the best Raleigh golf course so that us men can take a day away from the festivities, and treat ourselves to 18 holes. I’ve done a bit of research but it seems like there are an abundance of quality golf courses in the metropolitan area of Raleigh North Carolina, as well as in the immediately surrounding areas as well. Now, I am not an aficionado, what I am is a casual golfer who loves to take any opportunity to exercise and enjoy some premium bonding time with friends and family. We’ll be taking our young ones out on the course as well, and I think the girls and women are going to have a day at the spa or something of the like with their free day. In general, I think that it’s going to be a wonderful family reunion and I hope that previous tensions aren’t fueled by the proximity and that we can all just have a nice time being together way over in North Carolina. None of us live in North Carolina, but some of the ancestors on my wife’s side of the family did, and it is an important part of their lineage end family history. Anyway, I can’t wait, and I think it’s going to be a fun time. Please, let me know if you have any suggestions regarding golf courses or anything else that may be of interest in the greater Raleigh area. I will surely appreciate your input. Cheers!
